Leather is a natural product. Slight difference in colour and texture are characteristics of the leather used in lorda & jean products and can vary within a skin and between skins. Some leathers have natural imperfections which will confirm the authenticity of the leather and will ultimately enrich the product as it ages. Some leathers start off stiff and super smooth and over time they will get lines of age which does not indicate a weakening in the leather, it's just softening over time. Slight scratches should be able to be rubbed away. Bend and work the scratched area and the leather will lighten and the scratch should lessen. Leather colour will even itself out over time. 
 
Our leather is carefully chosen and each item is individually handmade so every one is unique. 
 
When photographing we try to give the truest indication of colour, however, lighting and screen differences sometimes make it hard to represent. The colour description next to each product are there to help describe the colour you see. 
 
Back Orders:
 
We try to keep all items listed in stock, but as all our products are handmade and some products made to measure, cut and make times are sometimes unavoidable. Please allow approx 2 weeks for Out of Stock products, but if required sooner, please do not hesitate to contact us on info@lordaandjean.com
 
Returns:
 
Please contact us within 3 days after receiving your purchase if you unhappy with the
item(s)
 
If you wish to return an item because you have changed your mind unfortunately we cannot refund the purchase.
 
Please understand that we can only provide a refund or exchange if we have made a mistake such as packing the wrong item(s) or if the item(s) received has a fault or defect outside of the character consistent with being truly handmade. 
 
Please e-mail returns@lordaandjean.com prior to sending your item(s) in the mail with reason for the return.
 

Please note that lorda & jean reserves the right to decline a return request subject to our discretion.

Shipping:

All products are shipped via Australia Post. You will receive an e-mail confirmation and tracking number when your item is shipped.
 
Once shipped, International delivery should take between 4-10 business days. Please note however that this does not include any time spent clearing customs in the receiving country.
 
Import duties and taxes may be payable when your order arrives into the country, if your purchase is over the tax free threshold. As the recipient, you are liable for all the import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied to by the country you are shipping to. Payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival. We are unable to advise the amount of this if applicable. 
 
The customer will accept full liability for all postal charges, return shipment costs, custom charges and handling fees should they refuse to accept a parcel due to import duties or taxes.
